They say if you cannot say anything nice then you should not say anything at all. Well, we do have a little something to say about “The Star Wars Holiday Special”. In a nutshell, do not watch it. But if you want to know about it and why it is so bad, then this is the article for you. Although it fits into the Star Wars canon in several ways even George Lucas would prefer to forget this production ever existed.

Fans who loved “The Return of the Jedi” fell in love with those cute, cuddly little Ewoks. They almost threatened to put the classic Teddy bears out of business. So it was natural that within a year George Lucas would bring an Ewok adventure to television. And the great thing is that it wasn’t all that bad. It wasn’t great, but it was watchable, unlike the Holiday Special. We have a few interesting facts to share with you about “The Ewok Adventure: Caravan of Courage”.

Although Star Wars fans cannot agree on whether to include the Ewok movies in their collection of canonical tales about the Star Wars universe, they do agree that this second movie was probably slightly better than the first. Based on stories provided by George Lucas, both Ewok movies follow the adventures of a little girl, Cindel, and her Ewok friends (led by Wicket, who appeared in “Return of the Jedi”). Wilford Brimley gave a solid performance in this children’s-oriented story but you just may be surprised by some of the other things you learn here.
