When Carson Napier set out to reach Barsoom, the enchanted world found by the immortal John Carter, he miscalculated and found his course altered by Solar forces. After many weeks of travel through airless space Napier found his ship drawn down to the hot planet Vennus.
Called "Amtor" by its human-like native people, Venus proved to be a world of vast jungles, sprawling plains, angry seas, and high reaching mountains. Napier would find his destiny and his true love on a world he never thought he would visit.
Angelic Pictures has acquired the license to produce "Pirates of Venus" from ERB, Inc., the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Burroughs was the creator of Tarzan of the Apes, John Carter of Mars, Carson Napier of Venus, and many other great heroic characters of the golden age of pulp action heroes.
